FAQ
Answers, not the runaround.
Straight answers on pricing, scheduling, insurance, and what happens if something goes wrong.
General
Most commonly asked.
No. Estimates are free anywhere in our service area, and that includes coming out to walk the property. We would rather look at the job than guess at it.
Scheduling depends on the scope, site conditions, and current workload. Share your preferred timing or bid deadline so we can discuss availability before you commit.
Tell us the insurance, bonding, permit, or other qualification requirements for your project. Confirm the applicable documentation directly with Branded B Construction before awarding or starting the work.
Sixteen counties across Central Texas, centered on Waco, Gatesville, Temple, and Killeen. Check the service area map — and if you are just outside it, call anyway.
Contact us about a driveway, fence repair, or smaller sitework job. We will discuss the scope, access, and any minimum charge or mobilization costs in the estimate.
Ask us about payment terms when we discuss your project. Any payment schedule should be agreed in writing as part of your estimate or contract.
Call (254) 392-3698 to discuss the issue. Ask about any applicable warranty terms before work starts and review the terms in your project agreement.
Yes, and we price them as drawn. If we spot something that will cause a problem or cost you money later, we will flag it before you commit.
Residential & Custom Homes
Yes — most of our homes go up on family land. We handle the site evaluation, driveway, pad, and utilities as part of the build, so you are not chasing four different contractors.
Absolutely. Bring us your plans and we will price them as drawn. If we see something that will cost you money down the road, we will tell you before you commit.
It depends far more on finish level than on size. We will give you a real per-foot number for your plan and your finishes after we walk the lot — not a guess over the phone.
Commercial Construction
Tell us your operating hours and access requirements when you request an estimate. We will discuss scheduling options for your scope before agreeing on the work.
Discuss permitting and inspection responsibilities before work starts. Send your drawings and any architect or engineer requirements with your bid request so the responsibilities can be agreed for your scope.
Fencing & Ranch Work
It moves with steel prices and terrain. We price by the linear foot after walking the line, and the number we give you includes corners, braces, and gates.
Yes, and it is included in the estimate. Brush, cedar, and old wire come out before we set a single post — building a new fence through an overgrown row never ends well.
We do it all the time. We will brace the tie-in point properly so the new run does not pull your old fence out of line.
Concrete & Driveways
The timing depends on the concrete mix, weather, and intended loads. Confirm the curing and traffic schedule for your specific pour before using the new surface.
All concrete cracks somewhere — the job is controlling where. We cut joints at the right spacing and on time so it cracks in the joint instead of across your driveway.
Tell us about the existing driveway when you request an estimate. We can discuss removal and haul-off alongside the new work so the agreed scope includes what you need.
Excavation & Land Clearing
Requirements depend on the property, drainage, and proposed work. Confirm the applicable requirements with the relevant local authorities before excavation, and discuss permitting responsibilities as part of the project scope.
Your choice — burn piles, mulch in place, or haul off. Mulching costs a little more up front and saves you the burn permit and the cleanup.
Trucking & Haul Off
Rough math: length x width x depth in feet, divided by 27. Send us the dimensions and we will do it for you and tell you what it costs delivered.
Usually. If the access is tight or soft, we will look at it first and either build a temporary road or shuttle material in with a skid steer.
Skidsteer & Site Work
Contact us for operated skid steer and sitework services. Discuss the equipment, operator, and any project documentation required when you request an estimate.
Tracks spread the weight and we stay off saturated ground. If the yard is finished and the ground is wet, we will reschedule rather than leave you ruts.
Silt Fence & Erosion Control
Requirements depend on your location and project. Share any approved site plan or erosion control requirements with us and confirm what is required with the relevant local authority.
Contact us about installation, repairs, or maintenance. Include the site plan and the work you need so the responsibilities and timing can be agreed for your project.
